Trattoria Meli Melo

I love this restaurant. It's super charming with lots of interesting menu options. My pizza was delicious and the pasta was too. Highly recommend! I will return!

After a frustrating four days of trying and failing to find a decent dinner in Kagoshima for my pescatarian wife and I, this place was a godsend. The booze is expensive but the food is excellent and the decoration and music are good too. I'd describe the menu as global food with a Japanese touch. We had steak, chips, green salad, anchovy mash, seafood paella and white wine mussels and they were all very good. Staff could work on their English, but couldn't they everywhere in Japan? Happy to recommend Meli Melo.

An Italian restaurant in an nostalgic house and beautiful European interior.

Food was great - 5 stars - great pizza! Service was not so great, staff couldn't read their own English menu, seemed stunned when asked simple questions in Japanese, and shocked by request for separate bills - so 1 star there - average is three stars. I hope they work on their service so it matches their food.

It was a dive, but it was good that we were able to enter until the time when the reservation group entered, but there was no menu table in the seats. The menu list arrived. If you didn't notice it, I was glad to leave. The remaining hour was a little bit, so I ordered the first menu anchovy potato and a few other dishes, but the other dishes also had potatoes as side dishes and all tastes were different and delicious, but my stomach was swollen with potatoes I regret having asked for the anchovy potato. It was long before the menu appeared, but the offer was not late and the taste was good

Good pizza, a bit pricy, good & fast service, they also had more than one beer to choose from. Not sure about an english menu, we used a japanese one
